Q-pot. × TRANOI March 2009

2009.02.02

“TRANOÏ” is held in Paris, at the same time Paris Fashion week is taking place. This fashion trade show gets together more than 8,000 top buyers and other professionals concerned with first-class fashion business who come from all over the world. This well-known fashion trade show can be considered as “the most important fashion exhibition” in the world.
“TRANOÏ” goes into partnership every year, however, in March and October 2009, it didn’t do it with a country but a brand. This brand is Q-pot. JAPAN whose designer is Tadaaki Wakamatsu. Tadaaki Wakamatsu created a complete installation from decorating the pillars of PALAIS DE LA BOUSE to designing new entrance passes and bags. The pillars were dressed with strawberry, chocolate and fresh whips so that PALAIS DE LA BOUSE looks like a huge cake.

Also he re-thought entrance passes and bags as he wanted them to look like black macaroons and cakes.
When guests went back to their respective country, it was like ants returned home with cakes.
